Child patients set to benefit from newly refurbished Children's Outpatients' area thanks to donation from local play centre
Description
Northampton General Hospital's recently relocated children's outpatients' area has received a generous donation from local family entertainment centre Riverside Hub, based on Riverside Park, for the decoration and supply of toys for the newly acquired area. Children's outpatients' has recently moved to area K within the hospital and was officially re-opened in May 2017.

NGH receive £16,042.97 donation from Barclaycard fraud team
Description
Northampton General Hospital would like to thank Phil Vickers and the Fraud Team at Barclaycard in Brackmills, Northampton for the extremely generous donation of £16,042.97. The donation will go to the Radiotherapy and Oncology department at NGH as a thank you for the treatment that Phil received from the Radiotherapy team here at NGH.

Stem cell treatment closer to home
Description
Patients receiving a highly specialist form of transplant therapy using their own stem cells can now be treated closer to home thanks to the re-introduction of the service at Northampton General Hospital. Since April, our haematology department has been carrying out autologous stem cell transplants on Talbot Butler ward.
