Mr Edward Crawfurd was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Northampton General Hospital in 1992 having trained both in London at Westminster and The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and completed Fellowships abroad in Geneva and Harvard, U.S.A.

Mr Crawfurd has a special interest in lower limb arthroscopy and in soft tissue injuries to the knee, in particular anterior cruciate ligament reconstructions and other more complex ligamental injuries. He has extensive experience in hip and knee replacements and perfoms small incision hip surgery.
