Bedside Book Club is our library for adult in-patients. It is managed and delivered by our volunteers. It was created entirely as a result of book donations from the public of Northampton and includes an impressive variety of genres.
Our Bedside Book Club volunteers love books and enjoy chatting with patients about their reading interests. They can make recommendations based on the patients’ interests.
All of our volunteers are supported with a comprehensive training package including
- health and safety
- infection prevention
- safeguarding
