A list of out-of-hours chemists is available from Phase 1 main reception and A&E.
Representatives are seen by appointment only.

 

How to find us

The main hospital pharmacy is located on Hospital Street (area E), just along from Cliftonville Restaurant, near to car park 1.

The NGH Boots Pharmacy is opposite the hospital pharmacy.

The team

The team of 115 staff is made up of pharmacists, medicine management technicians, pharmacy technicians, dispensers, assistant technical officers (ATOs), administrative and clerical staff.


Facilities

  • Modern, centrally located, department with a licensed manufacturing unit and wholesale dealer's licence. 
  • Office facilities in adjacent location [Billing House] 
  • Automated dispensing system
  • Ward pharmacy staff have individual notebooks/laptops
  • Electronic discharge, electronic prescribing of chemotherapy and EPMA pilot 
  • Aseptic unit (a sterile environment used for making up chemotherapy and other medicines)
  • Quality assurance department
