Conditions we assess & our clinics

The conditions we assess and types of clinics we hold

Some difficulties are identified at birth, others become apparent or develop as a child grows. This may include additional needs in a number of areas, such as vision, hearing, speech, physical, and emotional development, and/or learning difficulties.

The following are the most frequently encountered conditions by the Community Paediatricians:

  • Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD)
  • Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Complex Genetic diagnosis
  • Permanent hearing loss
  • Dyspraxia

In order to provide support for all the above conditions and more, we hold the following specialised clinics to allow for assessments:

  • Neurodevelopmental Clinics
  • Fostering & Adoption (F&A) Clinics
  • Looked after children (LAC) Clinics
  • Child Protection Medical Clinics
  • Audio Vestibular Clinics
  • Downs Syndrome Clinics
  • Special Educational School Clinics
