We understand that returning home can feel both exciting and overwhelming.
Before discharge, your Midwife will have provided you with all the necessary information and recommended that you watch our Discharge Information videos. For your convenience, these videos are linked below so you can view them again once you are at home.
If you have any concerns that are not addressed in the videos, or if you require further advice, please contact your community Midwife or GP, or call our Maternity Triage line on 01604 543529 (24 hour helpline).
This helpline is for advice for pregnancy related concerns from 20 weeks of pregnancy through to 6 weeks after giving birth. Please note, if you have a query or concern regarding your baby, we can provide advice and support over the phone. It is likely you will be signposted to your GP, 111 or A&E, as the doctors within Maternity Triage are not specialised with paediatric or neonatal care.
