The Northampton General Hospital Community Paediatric service supports Children and their families by offering professional Multidisciplinary input and support in a wide variety of areas and conditions to aid children to reach their maximum potential.
Leading the Community service are a team of Community Paediatricians. These are Paediatric consultants who have undertaken additional specialist training in assessing pre-school & school aged children who may have a delay in their development or additional needs.
The Community team here is made up of and work alongside a wide range of specialists, such as:
- Paediatric Physiotherapists
- Paediatric Audiologists
- Community Children’s nursing
- CDC
- CABS
- Clinical Genetics
- Acute general Paediatricians
- Tertiary centre specialists
As is with all Community services Country wide currently, here at NGH our waiting lists are extensive and you may have to wait some time for your child to be assessed.
