Professional Profile

Mr David Gidden was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Northampton General Hospital and started on the 1st January 2001. He trained in Scotland and then went on the North West Manchester Orthopaedic Rotation and spent eighteen months at Wrightington Hospital undertaking a Fellowship in upper limb and shoulder surgery.

Mr Gidden was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon at Northampton General Hospital on 1st January 2001 and held the post of Clinical Director for the Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery Directorate for four and a half years between November 2003 until February 2008. In addition to general orthopaedics and trauma Mr Gidden has a particular interest in upper limb surgery, particularly the wrist and shoulder.
