The Stars of UHN Awards celebrate our colleagues, teams and volunteers who go above and beyond to make a difference to patients, families and each other.
These awards recognise exceptional people who demonstrate compassionate care, kindness and professionalism, often in the moments that matter most. At Kettering and Northampton general hospitals, we believe it is important to recognise everyone who lives our values, whatever their role.

Who can nominate
Anyone can nominate, patients, families, carers, visitors and colleagues are all welcome to submit a nomination. Nominate any team, or member of our staff who has made a positive difference to your hospital experience.
When writing your nomination
When writing your nomination, please tell us how this person has demonstrated one of our hospital values. You do not need to use these exact words, please simply describe what they did and why it mattered.

What happens next
All nominations are reviewed by the Star Awards judging panel every two months. Award recipients are surprised in their department by a member of the Executive Team and receive a presentation, a memento, and recognition with their colleagues across UHN.
